3 tips on how to turn your idea into your reality

Have you ever had a brilliant idea that gets pushed to the side because you’re too busy?

Are your weeks filled with the same routine tasks that create the same results over and over again?

Would you like to know a way to turn your ideas into your reality creating bigger and better results?

Some of the consultations I have with clients are so exciting because we spend the time being creative, coming up with new ideas to enhance their business, their lives and ultimately the results that will be produced when these ideas have been implemented.

Unfortunately, the objection I have heard time and time again is “But I don’t have the time to do this”.

Of course, a totally justified objection when you are not looking at the bigger picture and sometimes these brilliant ideas stay as ideas and are never implemented.

Just take a moment to think of the consequences of that. Everything starts as an idea. Let’s just imagine for a second that the ideas for google or facebook never became a reality. Or what about those appliances that make our lives so much easier like the cooker or dishwasher. Or what about some of the live saving pieces of technology used in hospitals all over the world. You may never know how your idea will evolve or where it will end up or how it will enhance someone else’s life, but the important thing to remember is not to let your ideas stay as ideas. At least make the time to take a detailed look at these ideas and make an educated decision on how to proceed.

And to anticipate your next question – How do you do this?

Well there are 3 easy steps to help you turn your ideas into your reality.

1. Carry with you at all times an “idea notebook”.

People usually come up with ideas when they think of a way to improve something or fix a problem they may have come across. Or if it’s an idea for your business it could be an idea to create a new income stream or marketing idea. Write all these ideas down in your notebook so they are at least recorded to look at another time.

2. Create the time to look at these ideas objectively.

Schedule this time into your plan. If you are in business I would recommend giving yourself at least an hour and a half per week to sit down and really consider the ideas you have. Some of the ideas will be possible to implement immediately. Some of them may take some more investigation and planning in the future. And some of them may just not be right for you to move forward on them. One of my mentors once said to me that the ideas that are not right for her she gives away to other people whom she feels they might suit. I think this is brilliant and it’s also my recommendation to you.

3. For the ideas you have decided to move ahead on, remember to schedule some time into your plan to implement this idea and make it become a reality.

Remember no idea is too big for you to take on. It’s a matter of finding the right people to help you implement it.

I wish you imagination to expand your thinking and create amazing ideas.

To your continued success,
